Moving Forward- Digging Deeper: May 31, 2021

Writer's picture: Pastor Pete JohnsonPastor Pete Johnson

Making disciples is a mandate of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. He died for people and the only way that people will have a relationship with God is by placing their faith in what Christ has done. This week we dig deeper into viewing the world through the lenses of the disciples that we will produce. The world will only be won for Christ as disciples are multiplied.

John 1:35-42; Matthew 4:18-20; Matthew 16:15-18

What did Peter do for work? What would he become? How did Jesus view Peter? What does the name Peter mean? What does it mean to you that the Lord does not see us for who we are today, but who we will become? How does God see you? What about you, does He want to use for His Kingdom? What areas of growth or changes need to be occurring for you to be all God hopes for?
