MISSIONARIES

Hanoverdale supports many different missionaries all over the world! To learn more about any of the families we support, read their bios below. You can also see more material on their linked websites.

Paul & Mary Ann Beech:

Eurasia- Keys Ministries

Our Vision: "Unlocking Doors to Train Nationals." We believe that the love of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only answer to the sin and hatred of this world.

Our Focus: Our focus is furthering the kingdom of God by providing theological education to nationals from persecuted countries. We help support a Seminary in Eurasia as well as three satellite schools dispersed throughout Eurasia. These schools give the opportunity for nationals who have come to Christ to continue serving Him with the Biblical knowledge and theological education necessary to better spread the Good News.

Blair & Joan McGwire

Peru- Reach Global

For more than 10 years the McGwires have been traveling to Peru to do evangelistic and holistic ministry among the Shipibo people on the Ucayali River. A major focus of their ministry has been on pastor/church leader training. As people in villages respond to the love of God and churches begin to grow, the desire has been for these churches to develop under indigenous leadership. It has been great to see Shipibo men step forward to be trained as pastors in the Oralidad program. A team from the Pucallpa church is using a special teaching method [the Oralidad method] to help them learn the Bible in a way that can be shared in their orally-based culture.Recently the Shipibo developed their own missionary sending agency. Tribal people are taking the gospel even farther into the jungle.

Linc & Kaye Myers

Hungary- Send International

We are Linc and Kaye Myers and we serve at the International Christian School of Budapest in Hungary.  The school was started in 1994 out of a need for missionary kid (MK) education in Eastern Europe. What was started to minister to MKs, now reaches many other students with 24 nationalities represented at the school in 2016.  We moved to Hungary in 2007 and have been ministering to 9th thru 12th grade high school students by teaching Christian Studies classes, being senior sponsors, coaching volleyball, teaching PE, leading Bible Studies, leading senior trips and study trips to Israel.  Your partnership with us causes a domino affect; You pray and give, we go and serve, students lives are changed and they head out to the nations to live and make a difference for Jesus in this world.

Mike & Fran Vanbruggen

South Africa- Word of Life

Responsibilities:

In South Africa we are serving primarily in Local Church Ministries (LCM), calling on pastors and youth leaders with the goal of building and supporting those Word of Life youth groups and youth leaders. Within LCM we are doing orientations with new WOL(Word of Life) groups, S.T.O.R.M evangelistic meetings, Quiz Blitz, SuperBowls which are called "T Junction" here (note; a T Junction is a Tee in the road and when you come to it you have to decide which way to turn), BattleZone, and Sports Marathons! We are involved in Camps here as well. Summer camp is in December just before Christmas! Crazy!! Evangelism, Discipleship, and Training Leaders--that's what we do.Day-to-Day

Activities:

Certain days we have office responsibilities, answering phones, calling youth leaders and Pastors, and doing all sorts of behind the scenes things. Other days we are on the road giving orientations, meeting with our leaders and giving refreshers and encouragement, talking with Pastors, and taking care of logistical difficulties (I could have just said "running errands" but logistical difficulties sounds so much better)! Most of the Youth Groups meet on Friday nights here, with a few meeting on Saturday night. On those nights we "pop in" on WOL youth groups and give encouragement and tips, looking for ways to help them improve.
