What are you doing with all your free time right now?  Idle time is when many get into ‘soul’ trouble.  And right now, many have a lot more idle time on their hands. That idle thought, that wandering eye can get a person into real trouble. Some would have us only concerned with what we do on the outside. But God is concerned with the inner mind, heart and soul.  Today, choose to focus on the Word of God instead of anything else that causes your heart to wander away from God. Turn your eyes upon Jesus; Look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.

Are you in need of some good news today? 

Tired of all the bad news in our world? 

Listen to Romans 3:25-26. God has paid for your sin, by allowing Christ to be the sacrifice of blood on your behalf.  His perfect life, (He had no sin) allowed Him to pay for your sins. He gathered up all your sin and poured His perfect sinless blood over it, thereby cleansing you spiritually. And now, He offers to you a chance to be righteous and on your way to heaven. You just have to put your faith in Christ and His work.

Choose Your Kingdom Week 14: Midweek Miracle

How good is good enough to satisfy God? How many good deeds or rules do you have to follow for God to say –‘that is good enough’? 

So many people think that being good enough is the way to heaven someday.

The bad news is – we are just never quite good enough.

But then there is God…

God is good enough. In fact, He is perfectly holy. He knows that we are unable to be good enough and so He has made a way out of not being good enough through Jesus. Romans 6:23 says, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ

Jesus.”

That is a great gift. 

Accept it for yourself today.
