He calls His Church to be the salt of the earth to provide a preservation element to the world around us and to add godly savor to our culture. In these uncertain days, look for ways to be full of flavor for God to those around you. Who can you call today with a taste of God and His love?
Is your mind struggling to keep on target with God and hopeful today? Despite the tough times we are having, God is still there and He lovingly cares about what is going on. He knows your future, so do not be dismayed. Pray for the Lord to break through and bring healing. Pray that He will restore our land. Pray for those who are struggling or sick. But also, thank the Lord for His protection in your life and His sustaining grace for those who are hurting right now. Then, watch as He floods peace upon your mind and soul.
Have you ever considered what it must have been like for the early Christians who are talked about in Acts chapter 2? In the midst of great persecution against them, they prayed for one another. They daily studied their Bibles. They looked around at who had great needs and sold their belongings to meet them. As a result, the Church grew, and grew and grew.
