What sort of person are we talking about here? Why is this person profitable in what they put their hands to? Don’t just blindly go through life and hope for the best. List what you should you do to insure success in business? Make your plans and watch God establish your steps.
READ: Providing for others: vs. 14-15; 20
Laziness is not a healthy character quality. What does today’s passage say about the noble person? How far afield is this person willing to go to provide for those around him or her? How early does this person arise to do the work? Who does she look out for? Today, choose to serve with diligence.
READ: Bringing good and not harm: vs. 13
Why should we seek carefully for that which protects others? Does this person act half-heartedly toward the care for others? What does this person do to do good for others? Today look inside and process whether or not you are industrious or working half-heartedly for God. If you need to, make a renewed commitment to caring for those in need.
