READ: High Character – High Value: vs. 11-12
Why is this person highly valued? Why would such a person be in a good place emotionally when hearing this? Are you trustworthy and do people have confidence in you? Why or why not? Today, put your character in the hands of the Lord and let Him change you. Make amends for any character flaw that has hurt or damaged a relationship.
In honor of Mother’s Day, this week’s Digging Deeper is talking about Devotion – a deep, forgiving love that loves even when we don’t deserve to be loved. A devotion kind of love is not just for mothers, but every one of us. This week we look more closely at the love spoken of in Proverbs 31:10-31.

The word, noble or virtuous in the original language means inner strength; able, valiant. What is the difference between a noble (strong in character) and ignoble (weak in character) sort of person? Is this person common like sand? What is compared to a noble person? In your estimation what makes for a noble person? Today, ask God to turn your character into a noble character.

What happens at a church where there is no joy? According to this passage, what can we do to encourage one another? If you find something to complain about at church you are joining an absolutely non-exclusive club. Every congregation has lots to gripe about. But, what are we encouraged to do instead? According to vs. 19, what happens when you become a complainer? Today, as you prepare your heart for church worship tomorrow, rather than use your tongue to complain, use it to pray for your pastor, the musicians, the worship leaders and teachers.
