Read: November 20: 2 Corinthians 5:1-5
What metaphor does Paul use to describe our lives today? How does that change when we get to heaven? What is the difference between these two? What does that say to you about what is important in your life? Which will last longer? Which will you have more benefit from? Christ is the Lord. He is the Judge of your actions. Spend time building up your eternal home.

What do the afflictions of life do to you? What is the fear of death (not dying) all about? What does verse 16 in Corinthians say about the inner man? What is so really important in the eyes of God? What do the afflictions of this world produce? If God is ever increasing our eternal glory, what should your reaction be to the afflictions of being a Christian? Give Him the pain you struggle through. Look up at the King of Glory. See what He does.

Why were the disciples so on fire after the ascension? How can Christ be in your life if He is in heaven? How is the new creation different? What makes the difference? Today ask God to be lived out in your life rather than you being seen in your life.
