Read: 1 Corinthians 15:12-19

Christ declared that He would rise from the dead. There are some who did not believe in the concept of resurrection. If there is no resurrection, then what are the implications concerning Jesus Christ? What does it mean to us if Christ never rose from the dead? What should we do with our faith if there was no resurrection of Jesus Christ? Today, make a determination in your heart concerning the resurrection. If you choose not to believe in it personally, then eat drink, and be merry for that is all there is in life. But if it is for real, then get involved. Make the church the most important factor in your life, for you have the cure for eternal death.

Read: Psalm 49:5-15; John 5:29

We live in a land of tremendous wealth. What importance does God place on our wealth? Can our wealth buy favor with God? Why can we never purchase our spiritual freedom? At the end of life, what is true of all people? What is ahead of those who put their faith only in themselves? What is true of the person who puts their faith in Christ? Do you know someone who is elderly and nearing their end? Go to them with this great message of hope.

At Resurrection Sunday we sing, “Christ the Lord is risen today . . . Hallelujah.” It is a great theme song for the Christian Church, but do we understand the spiritual implications of the resurrection? This week we dig deeper in understanding the theology of the resurrection.

Read: Daniel 11-12:1-3

Daniel tells the story of the end times when the antichrist will rise up and destroy life as we know it today. What does the passage say about the nation of Israel at that time? Nevertheless, many will die? What does this passage promise for any who die in the Lord? What will happen to those who die without Christ when the Lord comes to judge His creation? What does this do to you when you consider your non-Christian neighbors? Encourage them to come into the Kingdom of God.
