Read: 2 Samuel 7; Luke 1:26-38
Describe the promise made to David. How was that promise fulfilled in Jesus? What does that mean about Jesus? Is He the King over your life? Are there areas in your life that need changing so that Jesus can be King of your life?
Read: Philippians 2:5-11
What was Christ’s attitude about coming to earth? Why was He unconcerned about losing prestige or a power base by becoming a human being? How low did Christ go? Why was He willing to be a servant Savior? What was the end result of His death? As a follower of Christ what does that mean to you? Choose to be a servant.
Read: 1 John 4:1-6
Not everyone believes that Jesus is God in the flesh. What does the Bible say about such people? Beware the religious groups who deny that Jesus Christ is either God or God in the flesh. They are of Satan (antichrist). Reject the spirit of this world. It is falsehood.
