Forgiveness can be hard. Not being judgmental can be even harder. It requires gentle humility. What do you need to do to develop a spirit of humility? Spend time today asking God to develop a spirit of humility in your heart.

In our study of James 4:11-12 this week, we are asking against whom are we being judgmental? Do you have that person/ people in mind? Our second question to ponder: How can you begin to bring healing to those relationships? This is not just an academic exercise. Pray for help from God. Then, in an act of forgiveness, go make it right.

This week, we reflected on the concept in James of how we are to treat one another in the church. We saw that it is just wrong to bring a lawsuit against a fellow believer, even if they have wronged us. Better to forgive than to reject the gospel of forgiveness. We were given several questions to ponder. The first: How has pride damaged your relationship with God and others?
