What are the storyline themes behind these verses? These are all verses that are worth memorizing so you will have ‘spiritual ammunition’ when witnessing. It is one thing to demonstrate how God has blessed you. It is another to take it to the next step to help someone come to faith in Christ. Write down these verses on separate 3x5 cards and memorize them. They will be useful when you share your testimony with someone.

Let’s face the truth. It is scary to witness about God’s blessing you. Why is that? What are we encouraged to do when we feel afraid? What is promised that the Holy Spirit will do for us when we do witness? What do you think that will mean when you share with someone what God has done to bless you? Today, choose to let God speak through you to those He is wooing to come to faith.

READ: John 9:1-11

What caused Jesus to interact with this man? What did Jesus do to cure his blindness? Speculate why Jesus did not snap his fingers and just heal him? Why were the religious elite not happy with this person? Did he have extensive Bible college training? When asked who had healed him, what did he say? What does that mean about you? Do you need years of training before you will tell others about how God has blessed you? To whom will you tell your story of blessing by God?
