READ: 1 Thessalonians 2:4; Psalm 107:2

What does it mean to be a witness based on these verses? Is it just living a good, ‘sinless’ life before others? Witness means to tell someone how God has blessed you. Today, write down how God has blessed you. Write out what you want to say to someone if you were to tell them some way God has blessed you.

READ: 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2;4; Matthew 10:28

Does God love everyone enough to save them? What is His desire concerning our salvation? What is the difference between His desire and what actually happens to the salvation of every individual? Will every person make it to heaven? What happens to those who do not accept Christ? Today, ask for God to soften the hearts of those who do not know Him. Although He is desirous, ask that He open the hearts of those who are not His family yet.

The end result of our Christian faith is the centrality of the Gospel of God. We are to be witnesses for Christ, longing to bring others into God’s family.

READ: Matthew 9:35-38; Luke 19:41-42; John 11:35

What was the ministry of Jesus? Why did Jesus have compassion for the crowds of people? Why did He weep? Were there many or few who were lost and desiring to find a Savior? How can we know who is ready to be ‘harvested’? Only God knows the heart of an individual. But God has been preparing some people, often very lost people to come to faith. Today, ask God to give you the heart of a harvester.
