What does it mean that we have no lasting city here? What is going to happen to the earth one day? What will replace it? Where is the New Heavenly City? What does it join with? Spend time today reflecting on your home being joined with the very throne room of God. What will that mean?

What are we encouraged to do in this life? It is relatively easy to store up treasures in this life. What happens to these treasures given enough time? What should we do instead? What sort of treasure is there in heaven? Today, think about someone with whom you can share your faith and make heaven that much more valuable.
