Sometimes we have no idea what God wants. What do you do when you are confused about what to think? Which door in life to open? What does Matthew suggest? What do you know about a child’s faith? Today, trust God simply. Prayer: Lord, Thank you that you love me and will take care of me. I don’t know what to do so I simply put my trust in you.

Why did the Pharisees bring a woman to Jesus? Why did Jesus write in the sand? What act of judgment did the Lord give? Why was not one stone thrown? Why was Jesus so gracious to this woman who was a prostitute? What second chance did He give to her? What command did He give her? What lesson do you learn from this story? What basis do we have to judge others? What do we do when confronted with a sinner? What lesson from this story are you going to implement for your own life?

Esther 4:1, 5-16; Esther 7:1-6; Esther 8:15-17; Ezekiel 22:30

Esther almost lost her head. Why? She also almost lost the head of her people. Why? What was she afraid of? What was the second chance after her unwillingness to be counted by God as a heroine of her people? What sort of character does Esther exhibit? Why did God put her on the throne? What does that tell you about God? Sometimes stepping out for God is risky. What are your fears in giving yourself wholeheartedly to God’s work for your life? Can you trust God as she did?
