Digging Deeper this week is talking about the God of second chances. Paul was unwilling to give Mark a second chance for some time. But God was willing. Second chances have to do with God’s grace at work in our lives when we have failed. What second chance do you need from God in your life?

1 Corinthians 10:14-28

According to 1 Corinthians, why was idolatry an abomination to the Jews? What cups are we supposed to drink and bread are we to eat? What does this mean? How can we be involved in the demonic today? Sometimes Christians say that they are covered by the blood of Christ and it does not matter what they do? What does this section in 1 Corinthians say about our freedoms? What are we free to do with our freedoms? When should we give them up? Are you causing another to stumble? What should you do?

Galatians 5:1-6

The problem with the early church and Gentiles was over circumcision. In Galatians what value does circumcision have to Christ? What happens when we try to obey the Law to win our salvation? How are we alienated from Christ by the use of the Law? Why has Christ set us free from the Law? Do not allow yourself to fall away from grace. In faith love Jesus Christ and in faith, let Him love others through you. Who can you love today who is not like you? Love them in the name of Jesus.
