Malachi 1:11; Romans 15:1-13

How often will Gentiles worship God? What does that mean to you? What are the offerings that you give to the Lord? Make a distinction between those things that are purely for God’s benefit in your life and those things you are doing for self-improvement or for self-edification. How are we to treat others? Why are we to accept others as more important than ourselves? How has Christ accepted those outside the camp of Jews? How can we encourage and appreciate the worship of others who are different from us? Today, ask God to give you the insight and ability to worship with someone very different from you.

Zechariah 2:1-11

For the history of Israel, there has been hatred and persecution. Why do many Jews fear the idea of other nations dwelling with them? (Look at Palestinians today.) What does God say will happen when He returns to dwell in the midst of them? What does it mean that the nations will be joined to the Lord? Pray today for peace in Jerusalem. Pray for the return of the Lord. Are you ready for Him to return?

Psalm 22:27; Jeremiah 16:19-21

Psalm 22 is a prophetic look at the Savior. What is promised to the nations because of Christ’s suffering at the cross? What does Jeremiah predict? Why are the worldviews, values, and beliefs of the world religions worthless? Today give thanks that across the world, people are coming to faith in Jesus Christ. How can you be a part of fulfilling the prophecy concerning the nations? Name someone from another culture who needs to come to faith. Pray for that person today. Ask God to give you the courage to speak to the person.
