Jeremiah 15:16; Matthew 20:25-26; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

How are you running your spiritual race? What sort of appetite do you have for the Word of God? What priority do you give to the Word? Are you giving enough time to satisfy the craving for more of God? What is the difference between the heart attitude of a Christian from a non-Christian? What is the difference between someone recruiting another in order to get his job done and someone who pours his life in another so the other person’s vision might be accomplished? What sort of attitude do you have about others? Are you willing to commit to pouring into another that they might grow to maturity and reproduce themselves in yet others? What are you waiting for? Go find someone and start the process.

Matthew 6:33; 2 Timothy 2:3-4; Philippians 3:18-19

What two things are we to be seeking? How much time will that take? What other things take up your time? Respond to the statement: If we seek His kingdom and His righteousness, He will assume responsibility for meeting every other need in our lives. How can your temporary vocation be a means to an end of fulfilling Matthew 6:33? What price are you willing to pay to have the will of God in your life? What temptations try to ensnare you away from faithfulness to God? What does God say about people who put their minds only to earthly things? What does He say about you?

2 Timothy 1:1-2; Matthew 28:19-20

What were they to do with the information that we are taught? What happens to all our training if it is not shared with others? At the point of teaching others also, how many generations have passed from Paul? What is the significance of this? This is not classroom teaching. This is imparting your life into others as Paul did with Timothy. As Timothy’s faithful disciples were imparting their lives into other faithful people, what was Timothy to be doing? What are the implications in this for the Great Commission? Are you busy as a Christian? Are you just active or are you productive?
