Deuteronomy 30:1-10

In Israel’s history judgment fell on them and they were dispersed to the far corners of the globe because of what? What brought them back to full graces with God?

What in your life has caused you to be ‘persecuted’ in order to bring you back? What happens to the evil persecutors in the end when their job is finished and you are in right relationship with Him? What are the areas of your life that He has sent persecutors upon you? What were those persecutors that humbled you and brought you low? Thank God that He will remove them! Praise the Lord!!!

Matthew 21:1-47

Why did the Lord answer a question with a question in this passage? What is the answer to the question Jesus asked? What is the answer to the question that the priests asked Him? The parable that He told really was a judgment on their hearts. What did these evil men do in this parable? Who are the servants symbolizing? Whom does the owner’s son symbolize? What do verses 17-18 mean? What did this story do to the Pharisees? What did Jesus do with the spies who came to catch Him in a compromise from the Law? Did thy catch Him in any lie or compromise? What did His answers do to the leaders? According to vs. 42-43, what will God do to His enemies? Does that encourage you today? Thank God that in the end, He will right the injustices against you because of being a Christian.

Luke 11:1-54

The disciples were in the midst of their ministry, seeing both great joys and horrendous struggles for following Jesus. Jesus had learned an important lesson when in such a ministry. What was it? Why did He need to pray if He is the Son of God? How should your prayer life be different when you are in ministry? What does the Lord’s prayer command of you toward those who may be your adversaries? How often should you pray? Why? What will God give for the diligent prayer life? What will happen when the Lord has great victory? What should a Christian response be to persecution, tests or mocking? What did Jesus do to spur us on in a wicked generation? What did He accuse the Pharisees of? What was their response at the end of this passage? Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes, when a person is caught in the wrong, it will make that person angry. What were they trying to do to Jesus? Did that stop Him from ministry? What about you? Keep at the task of winning people to God’s Kingdom.
