Choose Your Kingdom Week 16: Midweek Miracle

In the Sermon on the Mount, we are reminded that adultery is a sin. During the social isolation of the current pandemic, it may be more difficult to have an adulterous affair, but to lust after someone in mind or heart is no better. It is a spiritual adultery of the heart. It doesn’t even have to be about another human being. It may be a hobby, or being a workaholic, the TV or internet that is causing your heart to grow hard and cold as you turn away from God. Instead, today, confess this before God and intentionally choose to turn back to the Lord by cutting off any relationship, any addictive behavior, any TV or computer activity that is causing your heart and mind and body to turn away from God.
