Choose Your Kingdom Week 30: End of Week Encouragement

Do you remember the story in the Bible about Peter the

fisherman seeing Jesus walking on the water(as Jesus was wont to do)? Jesus tested Peter to see if he believed in Him. Come climb out of the boat and walk on the water with me. It started off great, Peter climbing out of the safety of the boat and , as long as he had his eyes on Jesus, he walked on water.  Pretty amazing! But then, the wind and waves picked up and Peter looked down at the water slapping at his legs. Immediately, he sank and the storm pulled him under. But, at that moment of despair, Jesus reached down and yanked him back on his feet.  Saved by Jesus. What storms have distracted your attention away from Jesus today? Turn your eyes upon Jesus , look full in His wonderful face, and the things that are distracting you will fade as you see His glory and grace.
