Read Nehemiah 3. Who was the first person mentioned to rebuild? Who was he in the life of Jerusalem. Why is that a big deal? Look at vs. 5. How do you think people felt that the upper crust nobles would not help? Pick out some key phrases used multiple times in this section of scripture. What do these repeated phrases mean to you? Where did many people make repairs (vs. 22-24)? Why was that a great idea? Are there places in your family that could use repairs? Today, choose to invest time and energy in repairing broken walls in your most important family relationships.
