What sort of person do you show prejudice or reject as not worthy of spending time with? James 2:1 says that we should not show favoritism. Favoritism has to do with how you view people from the outside ignoring who they really are on the inside. Dwell on how God thinks of His creation. Read Genesis 1:27; Proverbs 22:2; and Acts 10:34. What does God think about a person's wealth or poverty? Today, go out of your way to talk to someone who is struggling and in need. Get to know them by name. Ask about their dreams. Be a friend. Treat them the way you would hope to be treated if you were in their situation.
