GO- Digging Deeper: January 31

The Apostle’s Creed refers to the ‘holy catholic’ Church. What does that mean? In this creed the word catholic means ‘general, universal, complete, concerning the whole’. It simply means the complete and True body of believers throughout time who have confessed their sin, placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior who died, rose again and is in heaven preparing a place for His followers, and who have been adopted by God into His Body – the Church. This week’s Digging Deeper looks at the completed Church.


Read: Ephesians 2:11-18

What draws a person into Christian fellowship with others? How does the blood of Christ do that? How did Christ dying break down the barrier between hate and love, sinner and God? How did His death answer the hatred? Today, thank God for breaking down the wall that separated you from God.
