What does the light in vs. 9 –13 do? Whom does God rescue (vs. 22-26)? What does David call God in vs. 29? Why is that so important to David as a soldier? What enemy is pursuing you? What are you doing to put an end to your struggle? Are you looking to anything other than God to get you through? Go to God first, for “He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever."
