Read 1 John 1:1-3. This is a description of who could be an Apostle. Who were the Apostles expected to know? (vs. 1). What were the Apostles charged to do? (vs. 2-3). What was the expected outcome for those who heard the Gospel? (vs. 3). While we are not apostles, what are we expected to do? (Acts 1:8). What does it mean to be a witness? What have we witnessed in our lives about Jesus? Pray today about what you would like to say about Jesus as a witness to Him.
