Read 1 Timothy 2:5. Christ leaving this world and rising to heaven to an important part of our faith. Did Christ’s ascension to heaven mean that He is no longer here? What is He doing for you right now? (John 14:1-6) What does it mean that He is the Mediator between you and the Father? What do you suppose that He is praying to the Father about you right now? Because He left will we ever see Him again? (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). What does His ascension mean about your eternal condition? (Romans 5:18-21; Romans 8:21-23)). Today thank God for what the ascension means to you regarding your eternal life.
