What is the two-fold invitation to His disciples in the third phase of followership? What does it mean that “they might be with Him? What does it mean that “they might be sent out”? This stage lasted about 20 months. They watched Him minister, but they also were supervised in ministry themselves. What is lacking in your training to make you ready for going forth to share with others? Can you tell what your spiritual gift is that will benefit the church? Make a covenant agreement with the Lord that you will stretch yourself to aspire to be one who stimulates and encourage others to be followers of Christ.

What would you say are the edification needs of a child in the Lord? What prevents them from growing or stunts their growth? What needs to happen to become a spiritual young adult? What is a good description of a spiritually mature believer? Where are you on the continuum? Can it be said of you that you “know God”? Think about areas where you need help to be able to grow. Ask for prayer and someone to help you in your growth with the Lord.

How should our words and actions impact others? What will the building up a person’s faith do for them? Think about your words and actions over the last few days? Have they built up or torn down others? Who do you need to go back to and help them grow? Who needs a word of encouragement from you today?
